About

Welcome to the Richard Montgomery Jr. Memorial Heart Walk official site!

Richard Jr. was the kind of person who always looked out for the ‘underdog’.  He had a bigger than life personality that is unforgettable. His love for family and friends goes beyond words.  He always had a smile, a giant hug, an ‘off the wall’ joke and his straight forward honesty was always so ‘real’. This heartwalk is a way for us to always remember him and to honor his name.

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers – heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that’s fun and rewarding for the entire family.
